Connecticut man arrested, connected to Fall River murder investigation

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — District Attorney Thomas Quinn shared today that a man from Connecticut has been charged in the shooting death of a man that happened in December.
Angel Fabian Robles-Nicasio has been expedited to Fall River this morning from Connecticut.
He will be arraigned on charges of murder, carrying an illegal firearm, and conspiracy to traffic cocaine.
Robles-Nicasio was initially arrested with eleven other individuals in Connecticut in January connected to gang activity.
He was charged with corrupt organization and racketeering act, and held on $75,000 bail.
On Dec. 23, 2023 Fall River Police responded to a call of a man shot on Bank St.
Medical personnel arrived at the scene and found 44-year-old Juan Manuel Batista Castro on his porch, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Castro was pronounced dead at the scene.
Robles-Nicasio is set to appear in court this afternoon.
