Connecticut State Police issue shelter in place, dispatch drones after ‘suspicious incident’
VOLUNTOWN, Conn. (WLNE) — Connecticut State Police said that residents should avoid Hell Hollow Road in Voluntown after a “suspicious incident” Wednesday.
Police said that officers, alongside the Emergency Services Unit and the Drone Unit, were dispatched to the home at 11:26 a.m.
Residents within one mile of the area are advised to shelter in place and for other residents to avoid the area while the investigation takes place.
State police said the investigation is active and further information will be released as it becomes available.
