Cool and cloudy start to the workweek

Gray start with significant improvement by midweek.

Gray start to the workweek with cooler than average temperatures.  This cool air mass will remain in place through tomorrow.  Milder temperatures expected as of Wednesday.  Meanwhile, these clouds and the hit/miss showers in the region are a courtesy of a disturbance in the upper levels.  Conditions improve as of tomorrow.  We’ll continue to see some clouds with less probability of showers.  Temperatures will be a couple of degrees milder than today, around 60, still below average.  Seasonable conditions will develop by Wednesday and milder by Thursday, near 70, with plenty of sunshine.  We’re tracking the potential of a low pressure system heading north along the eastern seaboard that may bring widespread rain.
