Cool and cloudy today, warm and sunny tomorrow

There will be a few showers along the South Coast this afternoon

An area of low pressure passes to our south today, bringing clouds for all and a few showers for some. With overcast skies much of the day, temperatures will be quite limited – with highs in the middle-to-upper 60s this afternoon. The best chance of seeing some shower activity is along the South Coast, Cape, and Islands, but most will see less than a tenth of an inch of rain. It will be a breezy afternoon as well, with winds gusting 15-20mph at times.

We take a full 180 tomorrow as the clouds clear out and high pressure moves in. We’ll see plenty of sunshine and high temperatures above average – in the upper 70s pushing the 80 degree mark in some spots! The warmth is short-lived as we cool back down to the low 70s to end off the workweek.

Saturday is the pick of the weekend with plenty of sunshine, but cloud cover builds Sunday ahead of our next chance for some rain early next week.

Have a great Wednesday!
