Refreshing afternoon!

Kicking off this workweek with abundant sunshine this morning and chilly temperatures that

will quickly climb to the mid-70s this afternoon.  Cloud will increase along with a chance for

an isolated passing shower late in the day or overnight.  Clouds will break late overnight to give

way to more sunshine tomorrow with seasonable temperatures.  Similar conditions expected on

Wednesday with much warmer air mass in place by Thursday.  Values will head into the

mid-80s into the first part of the weekend with plenty of sunshine.

Meanwhile, we continue to keep an eye on the Tropics as a new system is forecast to develop into

tropical cyclone Francine and make landfall by the middle of the week over the Louisiana

coast bringing life-threatening storm surge.
