Cool, Cloudy with a Slight Chance Showers

A semi-stationary boundary keeps it unsettled across our region.  We’ll continue to see plenty of cloud cover today and tomorrow.  Chance for showers will be low with a slight chance for thunderstorms.  Temperatures cooler than average, in the mid-70s today.  Normal high is 84.  Overnight, clouds will reign with patchy fog.  Thursday rolls around with clouds and lower chance for showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will rebound back to around 80.  Superb weather is in store as of Friday with plenty of sunshine, warmer air mass, and less humidity.  Heat rises next week along with dewpoints.  Summer is still standing strong.  So far, this summer has seen 16 – 70° days, 30 – 80° days, and 7 – 90° days.  In Providence, it’s normal to see 10-11 90° days.  Let’s enjoy the weather to come this Friday into the weekend.  Before we know it, it’ll be winter.
