Cooler day Tuesday, showers crossing tonight
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — It was definitely a cooler day today with a cloudy sky and winds out of the Southeast.
As we move through the late evening a few showers will cross the region starting between 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.
These showers will be fairly light but will last off and on through the start of the morning commute. Lows will drop back to the mid-upper 40s.
Tomorrow will bring more clouds and temperatures similar to today with a few breaks of mid to late afternoon sun.
Another wave of Low pressure will cross through central New England Thursday and as it does so we will see a bump up in temperatures, but there may be a spot shower around during the afternoon.
Once that system has gone though, Northeasterly breezes will return for Friday and Saturday with that cooler marine air.
By Saturday night some showers look to move back in and continue to threaten us into Sunday.
Then finally, as we head into early next week the sun is back and we’ll be warming up nicely into the 70s.
