Cooler for Friday, weekend remains drier than not

The positive trend continues for the upcoming weekend.

Friday will be another bright day, but it will run 5-10 degrees cooler as winds shift from the southwest to northwest.

Clouds will increase Friday night into Saturday, with perhaps some light rain Saturday night into Sunday mainly for coastal portions of the area, Outdoor plans are no longer largely in jeopardy.

Any rain will quickly pass south and east early Sunday, with even some sun possible later in the day.

The reason for all this is a cutoff low pressure system off the Canadian Maritimes, which will help to push the storm further south.

Cloudy skies and cooler temperatures will be featured through midweek, with a weak coastal storm trying to push some light rain in Tuesday into Wednesday. Brighter skies return Thursday.

Have a great night!
