Cooler Temperature Trend Ahead for Southern New England

We’ve had a pretty “average” start to the week with highs on Monday in the upper 70s and low 80s. However, thanks to a cold front passing through on Monday evening and cooler air following the front, we have a cooldown on the way.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and breezy with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Wednesday will be partly sunny with the possibility of a stray shower during the day. Any drips will be few and far between! Highs will be in the low to mid 70s.

Thursday we’re back to a mix of sun and clouds with highs largely in the mid 70s. Highs will be in the mid 70s again on Friday, but clouds will build throughout the day as a stronger cold front moves in. We’ll also see showers and some pockets of heavy rain possible on Friday afternoon and evening.

That front moves out on Saturday morning, leaving us with a cool, but mostly sunny and dry day! Highs will be in the low 70s.

Temperatures build back a bit on Sunday and Monday. Both days will be mostly sunny and in the mid 70s.
