Correction to ABC6 News Report

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Yesterday, we reported in error that DC Metro Police had arrested three Rhode Islanders during the January 6 riot in Washington DC.

Based upon information obtained from DC Metro Police,  Alexander Benard, Jesse Pearlmudder and August Guang were neither arrested nor identified as having been involved with the events in DC on January 6.

ABC6 News apologizes for this error.
