Coventry Edges NK for D-1 Softball Title, St. Ray’s Wins D-II Crown over North Providence

Coventry had to beat North Kingstown twice to win the state Division 1 softball title, and the Oakers did exactly that with an exciting 3 to 2 win over the defending champs.
In Division II, St. Ray’s won its first title in ten years, blanking North Providence, 5-0.
