Coventry man arrested after breaking into Dexter Street home

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) – A Coventry man was arrested Wednesday after he broke into the home of a couple on Dexter Street.
Police received a call from the residents around 4:48 p.m. reporting an unidentified male suspect in the home and responded to the address, apprehending 23-year-old Lorenzo MacMullen in the driveway.
According to Police, no items were stolen during the break-in.
MacMullen arraigned in Kent County District Court Thursday, charged with Breaking and Entering into a Dwelling of a Person over 60.
He was ordered held as a probation violator for 90 days.
MacMullen was previously convicted in 2017 for carrying a pistol without a permit.
He was sentenced to 5 years at the ACI in Cranston and was released after serving approximately 4 months.
