Coventry man arrested for sexual assault

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — A Coventry man has been charged with first-degree sexual assault after an incident at a July, 2023 house party in Coventry.

Coventry police detectives arrested Saheed Lawanson, 46, at his home in Coventry and he was brought before a 3rd District Court Judge and charged.

His bail was set at $50,000.
