Coventry Police arrest man for alleged child molestation charges, seek additional victims

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — The Coventry Police Department is asking the public for assistance following the indictment of a Coventry man who faces charges of child molestation.
63-year-old David Oullette, of Coventry, was charged with seven counts of child molestation.
Authorities said that the alleged incidents occurred between May 1, 1998, and Sept. 30, 2002.
Police believe that there may be additional victims and are asking for those who may have been affected by Oullette to come and speak with the Special Victims Unit by calling 401-825-6341 or emailing ppacheco@coventrypd.org.
Oullette is being held without bail and is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on Aug. 13, 2024, at Kent County Superior Court.
