Coventry police find young boy wandering alone, quickly reunite him with mother

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE)  —  Coventry police said the department has found the mother of a child who was wondering along Saturday morning

“A short time ago a child was located wandering down Read Avenue and is now in the care of the police department,” Coventry police wrote on social media.

Officers said the boy is approximately 5 to 6 years old, and they are looking to find his parents.
