COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — Coventry voters will decide on a $25 million bond for schools in the district on Tuesday.

The bond passed the town council in July for the improvements to the aging schools.

The funding would go toward repairs for a middle school roof, install a new fire suppression system in the high school, and add many other upgrades to things like HVAC and water treatment.

If it advances, the town will be eligible to receive a 49.2% reimbursement on costs.
