BEAT COVID-19 Initiative Release Video for Pawtucket and Central Falls Reisdents

PAWTUCKET / CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) –  To spread the word to Pawtucket and Central Falls residents about the BEAT COVID-19 hotline, the initiative released a public awareness video in three different languages.

The video, produced by Steer Films, is in English, Spanish, and Cape Verdean Creole.

It features Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien, Central Falls Mayor James Diossa, and State Representative Jean Phillipe Barros talking about the available resources to the community.

The BEAT COVID-19 initiative is a system that gives residents of both communities, who otherwise might not feel comfortable getting tested, access to a primary care doctor, testing, and instruction on how to safely isolate.

The initiative also provides resources to overcome any hardships associated with the pandemic.

Residents of Pawtucket or Central Falls experiencing symptoms or in need of COVID-19 related assistance can call the BEAT COVID-19 hotline at 855-843-7620 or visit pawtucketri.com/COVID19 or centralfallsri.us/coronavirus.
