Cranston bank robbery suspect at large

Cranston Police are currently investigating a robbery at a Satander Bank on Reservoir Ave.

Bank employees say the female suspect entered the bank at around ten in the morning, and handed a note to a teller indicating that it was a robbery, and to give her money.

The suspect, whose image was caught on security camera, is described as a five foot tall white female with a thin build. She was wearing a black knit cap with a brim, a waist length blue and grey coat that had stars on the sleeves, pink pants, and black boots.

After taking $10 thousand, she fled the scene on foot towards the rear of the bank. No employees or customers were injured.

Cranston Police ask that if a member of the public encounters an individual matching this description, please do not approach her, and instead call 911. If anyone has information concerning this crime, please call Cranston Police at (401) 942-2211
