Cranston East Edges West, Chariho Beats Mount, Prout Over Tiverton in Baseball Loser’s Bracket Play

Cranston East edged rival Cranston West 1-0 to advance out of the Division 1 loser’s bracket.  The Thunderbolts will next play LaSalle.

In Division II, Chariho outlasted Mt. St. Charles with a 5 to 4 win in 9 innings.  The Chargers advance out of the loser’s bracket to play Ponaganset.

Prout scored the only run of the game in the 8th to beat Tiverton, 1-0.  The Crusaders now play Scituate.
