Cranston high school student, Elizabeth Bennett has always dreamed of making it big as a model. Her dreams came true this past year when she received a job opportunity from Abercrombie and Fitch.

"And I was like yeah I don’t care what I have on that day I’m going to do it. I’ll cancel. Move everything aside for that," says Bennett about taking the job.

Today, her face can be seen at the entrance of Abercrombie stores nation-wide. Last year she had planned to work hard and apply to NYU, however with her modeling career recently taking off. She has still decided to go to New York in August, but not for school.

"I can’t wait to be in New York so I can just like pick up anything that comes my way. College can wait," Bennett Says.

Her agent, who is a former Victoria Secret model, says Elizabeth landing this job is a big deal.

"This means a lot. This means Elizabeth is now put on a direct booking list and it means that Elizabeth now, her face is known all over the world,"says Pam Masucci, owner of The Beauty Within Modeling Agency.

Bennett is not the first Cranston Student to be featured in an Abercrombie add. Cranston high school alum, Mark Ricketson was chosen as Abercrombie’s cover back when he was 18. According to socialitelife.com, he has also done commercials for brands like Macy’s, kohl’s and JCPenny. Now just a few years later, he is set to star in a t-v series beginning the end of this month called Neil, Patrick and Harris, the chronicles of conjoined triplets.
Bennett says she looks forward to see where her modeling career will take her, and hopes there will be even more aspiring models from Cranston in years to come.

"I think that there are defiantly a few girls here that should be on the runway they just don’t know it," Bennett adds.
