Cranston officer arrested after allegedly urinating on woman’s leg at Kenny Chesney concert

FOXBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Foxboro Police Department has released details surrounding the arrest of a Cranston officer at Kenny Chesney’s concert over the weekend.
According to the police report, police spoke to a women who was standing in the pit area during the concert on Saturday.
The women said at one point, she felt a warm liquid running down her leg and into her boots.
The women said she turned around and observed a man, who was identified as Officer Shane Lynch, standing behind her.
Lynch was off-duty at the concert.
The woman told police she did not see his private parts but did observe the zipper of his shorts was down, and the floor behind her was wet.
The woman told officers she asked the man if he had just urinated on her, in which he responded back, “I did?!”
The woman told police the boots were valued at $180, and were ruined and smelled of urine.
Police said Lynch appeared to be “extremely intoxicated,” and swaying with his eyes closed when officers approached him.
The report further states that Lynch’s shorts also did appear to be wet, and he “began to grab his penis and urinate again,” according to management staff who was working the concert.
Lynch was arrested at the concert and charged with disorderly conduct and destruction of property.
Cranston police said Officer Lynch’s status will be reviewed after information is received from the Foxborough Police Department and the investigation is completed according to Colonel Michael J. Winquist, the Chief of the Cranston Police Department.
