Cranston Police arrest teen after apparent home invasion

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Police Department said a teenager was arrested after an alleged home invasion late at night on Sept. 7.

18-year-old Jaden Thomas Bourgeois was charged with burglary, felony assault, weapons other than a firearm, and conspiracy.

Police said they received a report of a home invasion on Pengrove Street around 10 p.m.

The caller said they were in the home with three other individuals while an assault was taking place.

Bourgeois was taken into custody on scene, while another suspect fled on foot.

The department is still investigating the incident.
