Cranston Police investigate suspicious death

Cranston police are investigating a suspicious death after a woman was found dead in the woods near Fay Field on Wednesday.
The field was just blocks from the woman’s home. Police were initially called to respond to a suicide at the park but sources tell ABC 6 that due to the circumstances surrounding the death it is now being investigated as suspicious.
The medical examiner is currently looking into the exact cause of the woman’s death.
