Cranston police look for pair wanted in stolen identity case

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Cranston police are looking for help from the public in finding two people wanted in a stolen identity case.

The department posted photos of two people in a blue Maserati Grecale SUV with a stolen Rhode Island license plate. One of the people may be wearing a wig.

Police said there were also two children in the vehicle.

The pair are wanted for allegedly trying to cash a stolen check at a local bank using someone’s stolen identity on Oct. 17.

No further information on the case was released.
