Cranston Police search for man wanted in connection to carnival assault

The Cranston Police Department is attempting to locate 18-year-old Wilson Rivera.

Rivera is currently wanted for felony assault with a dangerous weapon.

Police say Rivera was involved in the assault of a juvenile during a huge fight that broke out inside the carnival at Mulligan’s Island Saturday night.

Wilson may be operating a tan 1999 Acura TL, a black 2001 Volvo S80, or a 2004 Volvo XC90 with RI passenger registration IC153. 

Police are reviewing videos sent to them of the incident to identify any others that may have been involved. 

Police say the fight broke out among acquaintances and it was not random.
