Cranston Police searching for man wanted for vandalism

The Cranston Police Department is searching for a man who vandalized a RIPTA vehicle.

28-year-old David William Powell is wanted for “Vandalism and Malicious Injury to Property,” a RIPTA bus.

Powell has no current address, but is known to frequent the Cranston area.

Officials describe Powell as a white 6’ 0, 300 lbs male with blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Officials recommend that no one attempts to apprehend Powell, but instead call them directly at (401-942-2211), through their SmartPhone App, or anonymously through "TipSoft" at https://www.tipsubmit.com/webtipsstart.aspx.
