UPDATE: Missing Cranston woman found

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — A Cranston woman who went missing in the bitter cold over the weekend has been found.

Cranston Police thoroughly searched the Garden Hills section of the city on Sunday for Sharon Garber, 74, but found no signs of her.

Family members say the 74 year-old walked away from her home on West Blue Ridge Road early Sunday morning.

Her family told ABC6 News that she was found Monday morning, but are not commenting on her condition.

Garber was described as a white woman approximately 5-foot, 4-inches tall, 125 pounds, and having brown hair and brown eyes.
