Cranston schools thanks public after school bond approval
CRANTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Public Schools released a statement after voters approved a $40 million bond for the district.
The district said the bond would support both the schools themselves as well as upcoming facilities work:
We are so grateful to all of the Cranston residents who came out to support our schools and the facilities work to be done. Our schools bring families and a sense of vitality to Cranston and an investment in our schools is an investment for our city. We are proud of the work we have done to create better learning environments for students to and hope the work continues.
The bond referendum included multiple redesign and construction projects including the purchase and renovation of Cranston’s Apprenticeship Exploration School and continued Eden Park construction.
