CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Voters headed to the polls yesterday, and approved a $40 million school bond.

The bond referendum included multiple redesign and construction projects for the public schools;

  • Eden Park Phase IV redesign and construction;
  • Cranston High School West parking lot renovation;
  • Gladstone additions to the original design;
  • The purchase and renovation of Cranston’s Apprenticeship Exploration School.

In a Facebook post, Cranston City Councilor John Donegan thanked voters for approving the bond, saying that initial tallies suggested that it went forward with overwhelming approval.
