Crash backs up traffic on Interstate 95 south

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation reported that a crash slowed down traffic on Interstate 95 south Tuesday morning.

The crash happened just after 7 a.m. by Exit 13.

Traffic was backed up 7 minutes between the scene of the crash and the Jefferson Boulevard exit.

Crews were able to clear the crash shortly after 7:30 a.m.
