Crash involving motorbike in Fall River sends one person to hospital

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A crash involving a motorbike sent one person to the hospital Friday, police said.

The crash happened on Laurel Avenue around 5 p.m.

The operator of the motorbike was taken to a local trauma center and is alert and stable with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The scene was blocked off with crime scene tape Friday night to allow for accident reconstruction, police said.

The identity of the operator was not released.
