Crash on I-95 in Pawtucket backs up traffic for miles

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE)- A serious crash backed up traffic on I-95 for miles Sunday.
The crash happened around 3:15 p.m. in the southbound lanes in Pawtucket. Pawtucket rescue crews and State Police were on scene.
The car involved sustained extensive front end damage, with the drivers side door completely detached from the SUV.
The car was towed away just before 4 p.m.
It’s unclear what caused the crash or if there were any injuries.
