Crash on I-95 slows Sunday traffic

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A crash on Exit 19 off-ramp on I-95 caused a traffic jam on Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened near exit 19 on I-95 right near the I-195 merger at around 4:30p.m. but has since been cleared.

Traffic was slowed for miles and officials were advising drivers to seek an alternate route.

No information regarding the crash has been released by officials.
