Crews conducting summer repair work on Braga Bridge

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said overnight repair work is scheduled for the next four months on the Braga Bridge.

Officials said the work begins Tuesday night from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. with crews performing lighting upgrades on the bridge in Fall River and Somerset.

MassDOT said work on I-195 eastbound will be conducted nightly from Sunday to Thursday, concluding by Friday mornings.

Work on I-195 westbound will be conducted nightly from Monday through Friday, concluding by Saturday mornings.

Officials added that a right lane closure will be in place on both sides of the bridge while work takes place.
