Crews expected to be out ‘most of the night’ working on Warwick water main break

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — An update provided by the City of Warwick on a water main break on Airport Road said that crews are expected to be out most of the night to address the issue.
The city said that the leak should be fixed and water restored to the area “within a few hours,” but crews will remain on site to fill the hole around the pipe and put down temporary asphalt.
The break occurred around noon with one lane of traffic in each direction open.
Mayor Frank Picozzi said drivers shoud seek alternate routes if possible.
