Crews knock down fire in Fall River July 27, 2020 6:36 pm , FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE)- Crews made short work of a fire in an apartment building at 564 Alden St. in Fall River Monday afternoon. Deputy Fire Chief Frank Regan said the fire started around 4 p.m. Crews found smoke in the attic of the front floor, Regan said. A search revealed a fire in the second floor ceiling. Regan said it was knocked down quickly, once firefighters were able to locate the fire.
