Crews respond to brush fire in Central Falls

CENTRALL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) — Crews responded to fire on Aetna Street in Central Falls this morning.

ABC6 news crews observed the fire originating in an area of the woods.

Currently, there’s an elevated wildfire risk today in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut as dry weather continues.

Fire Chief Scott Mello said the brush fire was minor and was able to be extinguished quickly.
