Crews respond to car fire in South Kingstown
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Firefighters responded to a car fire in South Kingstown this morning.
According to officials, just before 2 a.m., crews were dispatched to Route 1 near the area of Wendy Lane for a motor vehicle accident.
Once on scene, officials encountered a fully involved vehicle with the operator, who self-extricated.
The fire was extinguished and the operator was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
