Crews respond to early morning Pawtucket laundromat fire

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket fire crews responded to an early morning fire at a laundromat on the first floor of an apartment complex Monday.

The building on Pawtucket Avenue suffered from large amounts of smoke according to the Pawtucket fire department.

Crews were able to get everyone out of the building safely and there were no injuries reported.

The fire took about half an hour to be extinguished and the investigation is still ongoing.
