Crews respond to fire in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Firefighters responded to a reported fire last night in Providence.

It happened on Glossop Street around 2:30 a.m.

According to officials, the fire was contained to a couch and the overhead ceiling.

3 cats were safely removed from the building.

There were no injuries.
