Cumberland Disaster Recovery Center closing early Thursday
CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced that its Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Cumberland will close early tomorrow.
Officials say the DRC at Cumberland Town Hall will close at 4 p.m. on Thursday for a previously scheduled event.
The Cumberland DRC will reopen Friday at 9 a.m. and resume its normal closing time of 6:30 p.m. moving forward.
FEMA has implemented disaster relief assistance across Rhode Island in the wake of several severe winter storms.
Residents can call the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362 for disaster assistance.
