Cumberland police investigating break-in, theft from Hotel For Homeless Dogs

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cumberland Police Department is investigating after someone broke in to the Hotel For Homeless Dogs.

According to police, back on September 28, a woman, man and a small dog arrived at the business in a gray pickup truck.

The woman can be seen on surveillance footage approaching the building and trying to gain entry through multiple doors.

Police say the woman did eventually get into the shelter and left with several items.
