Cumberland road closed after flooding collapse
CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) — A portion of Westwood Drive in Cumberland has collapsed due to the heavy flooding after Tuesday’s rainstorm, according to the Cumberland Police Department.
The collapsed section of road was seen blocked off by caution tape and barriers and is closed indefinitely.
Cumberland also issued notice of other temporary road closures in the town:
-Ann & Hope Way
-Abbott Run Valley Road between Sun Valley Drive & Lonesome Pine Road
-Industrial Road
-Jencks Road from West Wrentham Road
