Cumberland schools to reopen Thursday
CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) — Cumberland Public Schools will be reopened on Thursday after being closed for two days due to flooding.
“Schools will be open tomorrow, Thursday, Dec, 21, 2023,” Superintendent Philip Thornton said in a social media post. “Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
The schools were closed due to flooding of the bus yard.
