Dartmouth man arrested after assaulting officers

A Dartmouth man was arrested Saturday for assaulting officers during a motor vehicle stop on Cross Road.
62-year-old Daniel Gill of Dartmouth became argumentative and aggressive towards officers after speaking with him.
Officers attempted to take Gill into custody, but he became combative and physically assaulted the officers.
Gill was eventually restrained and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and threats to commit a crime.
Polcie say neither Gill nor the officers involved were injured as a result of the confrontation.
