Dartmouth Police arrest break-in suspect

DARTMOUTH, M.A. (WLNE) — An Acushnet man was arrested on Monday after he reportedly broke into a Dartmouth residence.

Ryan Boyer, 31, was arrested around 11:05 a.m., after responding officers found him running in the area of Connecticut Ave., after a resident reported that Boyer had broken into their home.

Based on the description of the suspect, and corroborating evidence, Boyer was taken into custody without incident.

Boyer is facing the following offenses:

  • Breaking and entering into a building during the daytime (placing someone inside in fear.)
  • Vandalism.
