Deadly crash in Wrentham

A man was killed and a 15–year–old boy injured when the motorcycle they were riding on crashed into an SUV. It happened around 2 p.m. Saturday on route 1 in Wrentham near Thurston Street.
The operator of the motorcycle, 35-year-old JOSEPH CARPENTIER of Woonsocket, R.I., was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead. His 15-year-old male passenger was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The operator of the Subaru and his three passengers were all uninjured in the crash.
Mass Sate Police say the driver of the Subaru turned into the path of the motorcycle.
Traffic heading to the Luke Bryan concert at Gillette Stadium was backed up during the investigation.
