Delta Airlines lost baggage recovery technology

Good news for travelers. The stress of lost airline luggage may soon be a thing of the past.

Delta Airlines are investing over 50 million dollars in tracking technology that would solve the headache.

Computers will verify whether or not baggage belongs on a select flight.

If a suitcase is loaded incorrectly, a red light will go off, stopping the conveyor belt until the baggage is correctly re-routed.

If this tracking technology is successful, other airlines may follow suit.
