PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health recommends re-opening two beaches for swimmers.

The Department of Health said Thursday that Easton’s Beach in Newport and Fogland Beach in Tiverton now have returned to low levels of bacteria. The two beaches were recommended to be closed Wednesday because of high levels.

However, the Department of Health does suggest closing Goddard State Park Beach in Warwick for swimming.
