Dighton hit-and-run suspect released on $2K bail

DIGHTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The suspect in the deadly April 4 Dighton hit-and-run was arraigned Thursday.

19-year-old Michael Laboy was charged with leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death.

Laboy was arrested Thursday morning in connection with a hit-and-run in which 57-year-old Paul DeMoura was found lying on the side of Route 44.

DeMoura died in the hospital.

Laboy was released on $2,000 cash bail.
